John C Gray

JOHN C. GRAY, age 78, Inverness, died May 10, 2013 at his residence. John was born on January 9, 1935 in Wray, Georgia to the late John and Annie (Pervis) Gray. He worked for Florida Power Corp. for many years as a boiler operator and water assessment technician. John served our country in the United States Army. He was an avid and accomplished deer hunter. Family members left to cherish his memory are his two sons, John E. (Brenda) Gray, Vancleave, MS and Gregory A. (Suzanne) Gray, Brandon, FL, brothers Kenneth (Linda) Gray, Hortense, GA, Rodger (Myra) Gray, Mystic, GA and sisters Jeanette Luna, Topeka, KS, Daphine Spratlin, Ocilla, GA and Sarah McCall, Brunswick, GA, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn E. Gray on 03/13/2012, his daughter Terri Ann Valois on 06/24/07 and siblings Wilbur, Cecil, C.J. Gray and Geneva Logerman. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Rutland Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness. The family will receive friends in visitation from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
