Willard Kolher Troxel, 79, of Inverness, Florida passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at his residence in Inverness. Willard was born on September 15, 1932 in Kulpsville, Pennsylvania to the late George G. and Alice (Kolher) Troxel. He was a route salesman for the Lance Cookie Company, Inc., and was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Willard arrived in the area in 1999, coming from Tampa, Florida, and was a Protestant by faith. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family. He is member of the V.F.W. Post #4321, Tampa, Florida; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #3992 and Fraternal Order of the Moose, Lodge #912, Tampa; and the American Legion, Post #138, Tampa. He is preceded in death by one sister, Grace Overholtzer. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jeanette Troxel. Other survivors include two sons, Kirk A. Troxel of Tampa, Florida, and Keith (Holly) Troxel of Branden, Florida; one daughter, Kim (Darren) Doran of Dunnellon, Florida; one brother, George H. Troxel of Springfield, Illinois; and one sister, Gladys Krieble of Telford, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Rob and Ashley; and one great-grandchild, Ariana. Private cremation arrangements under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida.
