Eva Mae Tucker, age 79, Inverness, died February 15, 2012 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Eva was born on October 22, 1932 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Raymond and Pansy Mae (Harper) Tucker. She was married on April 16, 1950 to Willard Austin Tucker, who preceded her in death on May 25, 1999. Eva retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborne, OH, where she worked in the mid 1980s as a civil service worker. Previous to that, she had worked at the University of West Virginia and Pure Oil Company in Beckley, W.V. She was a charter member of the Beaver Creek First Assembly of God in Fairborn, OH and later a member of Hoosier Harvest Church in Martinsville, OH. Survivors include her son, Jerry Tucker and his wife Stephanie of Inverness,FL, four grandchildren, Scott M. Tucker, Bryan D. Tucker, Janay Rodenbeck and Stacey Williams, five great-grandchildren and her sister Iris Marie Pack of Beckley, W.V. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Chalmer, Russell and Clarence Huffman and a great-grandchild, Jesse Tucker. Funeral services will be held at the Neal and Summers Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. with burial in Nebo Memorial Park, Martinsville, IN. The family will receive friends in visitation from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service.
